For my wedding in November I made many things including some crocheted bunting. I knew I'd made so much that I wouldn't ever need it all again. So my solution was to turn the triangles into a big blanket! I was going to try and make a rectangle but I decided in the end that triangles want to make hexagons, so that's what I did.
It's a bit earlier than normal but the Christmas tree is up! It is exciting for me as it's the first year in my own house with my husband. We decided to get a real tree this time to mark the occasion, and as I've been planting trees at work today I feel I've done my environmental contribution to help the trees too! I havn't made any new decorations yet this year, but here are some pictures of one's I've made in previous years. Some crocheted baubles, a snowman, and some mini festive bunting.
I decided to make an advent calendar this year for me and my husband. Instead of buying one we thought it would be fun to have one where you put the treats in little pockets, and then you can reuse it every year. It's make from felt, wool and an old pillow case!
